Howard (Howie) Freedman began playing music at the age of eight. Starting on Clarinet, he made the natural progression to Saxophones and Flute during his early teenage years. Hours of practice everyday helped earn him numerous awards of excellence and outstanding soloist awards at jazz festivals around the country. He was an original member of "Sounds of Society" in the late 1970's with Phil Saglembeni.

Today, Howie is a Chiropractic Physician and has been practicing in South Jersey since 1985. Despite his professional career in the medical industry; music has always been his true passion. He continued to play throughout the years and had the opportunity to perform with some of the finest musicians throughout the Tri-State area.

Howie is very excited and honored to be part of this project! With the combined efforts of Phil and Roosevelt, Howie truly believes that we put together a group of very talented musicians who are extremely committed and prepared to replicate the sound that Chicago has made famous over the past four decades.
